Surf shack with a private hot tub near Cleveland Beach
A bright little cottage on Nova Scotia's South Shore, made for slow mornings, salt air and paddles out to the ocean.
The Shack
Small cottage, big views of “The Puddle”
Our 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom surf shack is perfect for a small family or two couples. Enjoy views of “The Puddle”, a saltwater lake across the road, with water access so you can paddle out to the ocean underneath the Rails to Trails.
The Rails to Trails is only a 3-minute walk, and Queensland Beach is a 6-minute drive. Year-round, the area is great for ATVing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, kayaking and paddleboarding, and the private hot tub is open 24 hours, all year.

Inside, there's a double bed in the bedroom and a double pull-out sofa in the living room. There's no door between the bedroom and living area, just a bead curtain. The kitchen has a full-size retro fridge, two cooktops and a Wonder Oven (6-in-1 air fryer and toaster oven). Out on the large deck you'll find a BBQ and a propane fireplace.
